Stephen Girard Park (2101 W Shunk St, Philadelphia, PA 19145) - Quiet neighborhood park with a small book library, community bulletin board, meetup for Stephen Girard Park Run Club, and various new park events and activities. Get involved with the Friends of Stephen Girard Park to help maintain the park! In addition to hosting seasonal and holiday events such as Easter Egg Hunt, Friends of Stephen Girard Park works with Girard Estate Neighbors Association to host two seasonal markets with vendors. Coming this Summer (8/13/2025-8/17/2025) is Parks on Tap at Stephen Girard Park!
Guerin Recreation Center and Playground (2201 S 16th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145) - Recreation center with basketball court, playground with swings, as well as many family activities, summer camps, and programming.
Barry’s Playground (18th St and Bigler St, Philadelphia, PA 19145) - 4.0-acre site with playground equipment, a swimming pool, hockey court, volleyball court, basketball and tennis courts, and sports fields.
Marconi Plaza (2800 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19145) - Large urban park square at Broad and Oregon that splits into four corners at Broad and Oregon. Marconi Plaza has plenty of space for sports and activities, with several playgrounds and kids' area, including multiple swing sets.
